Flavour expecting 1st child with ex-beauty queen, Sandra Okagbue

I heard this gist many weeks back but I wanted to be sure it's true before bringing it here and I've finally confirmed now.So yes, Flavour Nababia is expecting his first child with ex-Delta soap queen and model, Sandra Okagbue.

Sandra, who was once linked to Mikel Obi, left Nigeria for the US in June, and is expected to give birth some time this month.

Joan Rivers now on life support

Dear Lord, let this woman come out of this alive. According to TMZ, Joan Rivers is on life support and sources close to the legendary comedian say she is completely reliant on machines to stay alive.

"According to our sources, the family will have to decide in the next couple of days whether to keep the 81-year-old on life support. We're told the family remains hopeful that if they do decide to turn off the machines, she will make a turn for the better and fight through it." TMZ reports

Just 12 hours before she was rushed to the hospital after she stopped breathing during a throat surgery on Thursday, the 81 year Fashion Police star had joked about dying. During her stand-up gig in Manhattan, Joan joked to her audience

The Federal Government has reinstated the 16,000 resident doctors it sacked 

on August 13th. Announcing their reinstatement yesterday August 29th in Abuja, 

spokesman for the Minister of Health, Dan Nwomeh said the reinstatement 

became effective Thursday August 28th.

Joan Rivers in critical condition said to have stops breathing during surgery

Comedian and E! Fashion Police star Joan Rivers was rushed to the hospital in New York City this afternoon after she stopped breathing during a surgery on her throat

Rivers, 81, was undergoing a throat procedure in a clinic when she stopped breathing. She was rushed to Mount Sinai hospital in New York where authorities said she's in critical condition.

After her heart stopped beating during surgery, an emergency call was placed to 911 and the caller said, "We have somebody in either cardiac or respiratory arrest."

TMZ said it's not clear if doctors were able to restart her heart.

Nigeria successfully contains Ebola, has only one case left - Health Minister

Minister of Health Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu said today that Nigeria has been able to reduce the number of Ebola cases to just one.

At a press briefing held today August 26th in Abuja, Prof. Onyebuchi said only one patient out of the 13 confirmed cases in Nigeria is still at the Isolation center. He said five of those infected died while seven have successfully recovered and have been discharged. He also said two of the nurses who attended to Patrick Sawyer at the First Consultant hospital were discharged yesterday.

Liberian doctor dies from Ebola despite taking Zmapp

The National Deputy Chief Medical Doctor in Liberia, Abraham Borbor, has died from the Ebola virus disease despite taking the experimental drug, ZMapp. Late Dr. Borbor contracted the deadly virus while attending to Ebola patients at the John F. Kennedy Medical Centre in Monrovia.

Liberia's Minister of Information Lewis Brown announced his death to reporters in Monrovia this morning and said the late doctor was improving as at yesterday August 24th but suddenly took ill and died.

Late Dr Adadevoh's younger sister reportedly tests positive to Ebola

According to Sahara Reporters, the younger sister of late Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh 

who died of Ebola on Tuesday August 19th has been confirmed to have Ebola 

and has been hospitalized. The report below..

SaharaReporters has learned today that Amy Ngozi Adadevoh, younger sister of the late Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, has reportedly tested positive for the Ebola virus.

Miss Adadevoh had previously been a suspected case, a suspicion confirmed today by blood test. She has been moved to isolation at the Ebola treatment center in Lagos. She joins two other patients there undergoing evaluation and treatment.

Mercy Johnson talks about her love for Genevieve Nnaji

Mercy went further to say that her love for Genevieve has never been hypocritical.

"It was never a hypocritical kind of love or likeness. It was plain. I didn't even ever think I will become close to her. It is like I can meet her anytime I want to".

On how she felt when she first met Genevieve Nnaji;

"Ahh! The first time I met her, my friend took me there. When we got to where she was, I became nervous. I told my friend "no, let me hide in your boot". And I did. I got into her boot. Can you imagine I came to see her and when I got there, I wanted to run back. I jumped into my friend's boot. So when she came out of the hotel, I could not see her, I could only hear her voice. The 2nd time I saw her was on set. When she came down and I met her, she said" "Ahh! Mercy, I like your movies" and I started crying. I was in tears of joy. I said "Aunty Genny, so you watch my movies?". She was sort of embarrassed. Before I met her, she had already known that there was somebody who was crazily insane about her. She was really nice to me, receptive. And even whenever we work together, she will correct me and say, that thing you did, you could have done it this way. Finally Nigerians doctors suspend strike after 65 days

After 65 days, the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has suspended its strike. 

They made the announcement on their official twitter handle yesterday, and today, 

NMA president, Kayode Obembe, told journalists that the association decided to 

suspend the strike because of the Ebola outbreak.

He said all Nigerian doctors are expected to report to work tomorrow Monday 

August 25th.

Chris Brown 'shot at', Suge Knight 'injured' during LA nightclub party

According to a breaking news report on Daily Mail and TMZ, singer Chris Brown was 'shot at' in the early hours of this morning at a pre-VMAs party at 10AK night club in LA. Chris, who was hosting the party, was not injured but music label boss Suge Knight was shot twice. Two others were injured, one of them said to be in critical condition.

According to Daily Mail, witnesses at the scene claimed that Chris Brown was the target of the shooting, but TMZ said they weren't so sure who the target was.

Model Tyson Beckford, and Black Eyed Peas member Apple de Ap, who were inside the party said they heard four gun shots.
