Anita Oyakhilome claims claims adultery is not the ground for divorce

There were reports last week that pastor Anita Oyakhilome, the wife of Christ Embassy Head Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is seeking to divorce him on the grounds of 'adultery' & ‘unreasonable behaviour’ but a new report is claiming this is not true.

According to ThisDay, who said they have a copy of the court papers for the divorce process filed at the Principal Registry of the Family Division (PRFD) of the High Court of Justice, Anita filed for divorce on the ground that 'the marriage has broken down irretrievably.'

'All schools to resume September 22nd' - FG

The Federal government has directed all primary and secondary schools to resume on Monday September 22nd. The resumption date for schools had earlier been postponed to October 13th as a precautionary measure to contain the spread of the Ebola virus in Nigeria.

Chris Oyakhilome denies adultery accusations

Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, who is currently in divorce court with his estranged wife Anita 

Oyakhilome has denied adultery accusations and has threatened to sue journalists who 

publish stories about himself and his wife. In a statement released via his lawyer Mr. Kemi 

Pinheiro (SAN), Pastor Oyakhilome said the accusations of adultery against him is 'false 

and malicious'.

"The attention of our client, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, and the church has been drawn to the wave of false, malicious and fabricated stories being published in the print and electronic media about his person, the church and a matrimonial cause between him and his wife," his attorney stated. Chris Brown pleads guilty to misdemeanor assault charges in D.C

Chris Brown was in court today and according to reports, he accepted a plea deal in his 

Washington D.C. assault case.

Chris Brown pleaded guilty, and telling the judge he just wants this case to go away so he can go on tour. Brown had been charged with misdemeanor assault for punching a man in the face outside his tour bus last October. The judge sentenced him to time already served. Brown apologized in court ... saying the case had derailed his career for the past year. Chris Brown's girlfriend Karrueche was also in the courtroom lending moral support." TMZ reports...

How UNILAG Chief Security Officer was assassinated at beer parlor

The head of operations, Security Unit of the University of Lagos, Sunday Adejumo, 

was killed on Friday August 29th by suspected assassins at a beer parlor on Oyenuga 

street, behind St Finbarrs str., Akoka, Lagos.

Adejumo, 50, was drinking with some friends at a beer parlor called Daniel's Place 

when three men walked up to him, dragged him off his chair, stabbed him before they 

shot him dead.

Doctors begin process to bring Joan Rivers out of coma

Doctors at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, yesterday Sunday August 31st started the process of bringing her out of her medically-induced coma, but fear she could be left as 'a vegetable' or 'needing a wheelchair' as they battle to save her life. The waking-up process will take until tomorrow Tuesday September 2nd.

"There is real concern that the part of the brain that controls motor skills may have been compromised leaving her as either a vegetable or in a wheelchair,' a source close to the family said

"Rivers would not want to live unless she could enjoy 'a full and active life. ... (She) would never want to be a burden on anyone' another family friend said

The 81-year-old was having surgery on her vocal cords at a clinic in NYC when she suddenly stopped breathing during the procedure on Thursday August 28th.
